Here at Audiotech Services we repair and restore vintage tube amplifiers and classic studio equipment. Though we do not service modern day consumer-grade stereos, televisions or computers; we do perform high quality restorations of classic audiophile gear such as Dynaco, Scott, Fisher and McIntosh.

With over 40 years of experience on the audio bench, our founder, Jack Donahue, is one of the most talented and well-respected audio engineers in America. During his long career, Jack has worked with some of the most talented bands in the world, as well as some of the most important public officials in US history.

Our service rates are $75 / hr, billed in quarter-hour increments. Typical turnaround time is 2 weeks for basic repairs but faster service is available at no additional charge when there is a true need. Our minimum bench fee is $50, which is received as a cash deposit when your item is dropped off for repair. This covers the first 40 minutes on the bench, and is applied to total repair costs. This gives us time to disassemble your unit, analyze its problem, and put it back together if you do not want to complete the repair. Being a small customer-orientated business, we deal in cash: no credit cards, no checks, no cyber-payments. This helps keep our costs low and our quality high.

We service your equipment with the finest repair parts available including Mercury Magnetics transformers manufactured in California and Sprague capacitors manufactured in Virginia. We also provide Electro-Harmonix, Genalex, Mullard, Sovtek, Svetlana and Tungsol vacuum tubes manufactured in Russia by our good friends New Sensor corporation headquartered in New York City. Because of our longstanding relationships with these fine American companies, we can offer you the highest quality electronic components in the world.
